Bazaar at the Farm - Beerfarm

Bazaar at the Farm

On Friday night, magic happened at the Beerfarm.

Designers, artists, creators, jewellery makers, fashionistas, and foodies all gathered together on the cusp of a beautiful twilight in Metricup on Friday November 16th.  Under twinkling lights and soon to be fully illuminated stars, a litter of marquees graced the farm in salute of the days most perfect spring weather that topped off another divine day in the south-west and marked the beginning of an awesome weekend.

The Bazaar events are a show of total support and collaboration with local producers and suppliers whom we are so incredibly lucky to have on our doorstep down here. The market always focuses on the local community, and celebrates its innate diversity and multiculturalism – which we put on show by inviting a dynamic and talented pool of producers, artisans, artists, and entertainers that we consider world class.  The idea is to show off and give voice to some of the regions best kept secrets, or home grown favourites, with a boost to the local grassroots economy, all in the name of a good time.

As the punters arrived in droves, it gave us great joy to see that we had provided such a unique platform form them to display. The atmosphere quickly became festive as the hustle and bustle of shopping began, while the returning Brazilian Barnyard Folk band, Xoxote, played live music to sexy Forro’ dancing couples. Pulp movement might have warmed up the floor, but by the end of the night, it was jammed with guests looking for a good time, and no bull.

The beer was in abundance and everyone got the chance to laugh, play, shop and eat: it was our third Bazaar night at the Beerfarm and we are enormously grateful for the support and collaborative effort of locals and new friends alike, whom without this event would be no fun at all.

So thank you to everyone who came along and supported this wonderful free community event, and all the talented creative’s who enticed crew to stick around! We can’t thank you enough, nor wait to see you all again at the next one so…stay tuned for the date announcement 😉
